A little terracotta incense burning cottage, with Fish.
Each cottage is individually hand carved using the Japanese Kurinuki technique, which is carving something from one block of clay.
The design on the outside is made using the Italian technique of sgraffito, painting an underglaze or slip on the outside then scratching the design into the clay.
Each cottage has its own incense cone stand.
This one has a little fish charm hanging from the roof, which is also hand made.
