These foxy mugs have been decorated using the sgraffito technique;
When the hand built cup is leather hard, I apply 3 coats of black underglaze. When this has dried I carve the pattern in, gently removing the black and scratching the pattern into the clay.
It is quite a long drawn out process, but fun to do and lovely results!
Each cup is unique in its own way 🧡
The inside is fully glazed in a blue botz glaze.
